Pynix is a browser helper object that monitors internet browsing sessions in an attempt to redirect search queries and distribute unsolicited advertisements. The application typically installs as a bundled component with several freeware utilities; however, Pynix has also been known to utilize ActiveX drive-by downloads in order to initialize a forced and/or perceivably hidden installation.
